Elegant, robust and family-friendly sailing yacht with a spacious bough cabin and two comfortable bunks at the stern. Separate toilet and bath facilities. Tasteful interior fitted in teak and spacious main cabin with berths for 3 persons.

Hero 101 is a very popular boat for sailing on the high seas (ref. S/Y Sorgenfri, S/Y Vanvara, S/Y Petrell, osv. See links at: http://www.sorgenfri.com/langseilere), and it has proven its seaworthiness on all oceans of the world. Our boat is very well insulated, and has a 3 kW Eberspacher dieselelectric heater onboard.

“S/Y Underveis” was one of the last boats of this type ever built, and it was first operational in 1987.

During our first leg from Sandnessjøen to Røst, Rune uttered exaspiratingly, in the middle of Vestfjorden; -“She is handling the sea like a big, fat, good tempered cow!”
